Elke derde woensdag van de maand kun je aansluiten bij de Kunstwerkplaats, een creatieve hub voor artistieke inspiratie en innovatie, met samenwerkingen tussen WdKA-studenten, lokale kunstenaars en het Putsebocht-collectief.

Elke derde vrijdag van de maand kun je samen met lokale bewoners en vakmensen langskomen bij het Repair Café om spullen te repareren en zo duurzaamheid te bevorderen. Van mode tot techniek, deze samenwerking tussen professionals en de gemeenschap benadrukt reparatie vaardigheden en technische carrières. In samenwerking met HEF College, Cultuurhuis Feyenoord en De Makerij.

Every last Friday of the month there is a guided tour for local residents during the renovation period. Organized and carried out by students from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Creative makers and local residents are welcome to view the renovation and think about the program that the partners can offer.

The Makersweek is a unique initiative in Rotterdam that fosters creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship. It allows Rotterdam residents, regardless of their educational background, to attend workshops and lessons taught by local instructors. The goal is to create a platform where teachers can showcase their talents. The event enhances community engagement in arts and crafts while simultaneously promoting innovation in Rotterdam’s education system. During the Makersweek-project, workshops are organized in which local teachers can share and promote their expertise, and participants can attend lessons and workshops that are not always easily accessible to everyone.

A Christmas dinner meal prep cafe in co-creation with Public Food. With residents and a local chef together, we will make a three-course, vegetarian Christmas meal for the Christmas days.
